across   darkened expanses   where dolphins reign
counters cry the numbers to sleep
across   specious words   lined along arches that
bloom   water itself   is new
across space that expands    with images of tubers
in growth is light falling from eyes forming circles
across two moments of here in place and
stumbling forward   you   subtle   beautiful   alive
